Our world has a combination of privileged people having access to resources while underprivileged people who aren’t even able to cover themselves up with basic clothing.

We, Eleos, are a CSR initiative of Vihaan Tandon. We work on linking both the ends, collecting reusable clothes from the willing donors while redistributing them to needy people through NGOs. We serve as one of the most convenient portals, helping donors declutter their wardrobe while making sure their clothes reach the needy individuals.

Small droplets of water collected together can make an ocean. The story doesn’t end here. We believe that no contribution is small. Every donation makes a difference and therefore should be appreciated. Therefore, as a token of appreciation, we came up with issuing gift cards and depositing points which can be redeemed in our partnered leading fashion stores as a discount on purchase of new clothing.

How it works?

Eleos works on the simple principle – donate your old clothes, get points for each cloth, redeem your points for new clothes in the stores like Shopper stop that Eleos has a tie up with. Besides, Eleos has tied up with the right NGOs to make sure that the clothes reach the Underprivileged Children.

To fund this venture, Eleos takes donations from different corporates in their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) structure, and Eleos gives them Tax Exemption Certificates under the 80G Deductions. It is a Win- Win Situation for everyone.

Why Donate Old Clothes?

Why Choose Eleos to Donate?

Time-Saving

Finding a proper and trusted channel for donating your used clothes may not be easy. You need to ensure that your donations reach the deserving ones. Eleos’ super easy format to register and donate can take the hassle away and you need not waste time reaching the needy ones. Our multiple partner NGOs make sure that your donations are transited to needy ones in no time.

Authentication

Our authentication process before enrolling any NGO as our partner ensures that the donations never fall into wrong hands. NGOs are chosen as partners because they are well-respected within their community or have experience in delivering services that meet a particular need. Apart from this, we cross-check all approvals from regulatory bodies awarded to the NGOs.

Rewards

Donating your used clothes to people who need them is a rewarding experience with Eleos as your partner. We have partnered with commercial organizations in the retail clothing space such as Shopper’s Stop to extend benefits to those who donate via our platform. Every time you donate to us, you get rewards points that can be redeemed while shopping at Shopper’s Stop.

What to do and what not to do while donating?

  • Fill in your credentials completely while registering and/or filling donation form.
  • We appreciate if you could wash and iron the outfit you want to donate before packing. Please remember that your donation will bring a smile on to someone’s face.
  • You are requested to properly pack the clothes in order to save them from any damage which could happen during transit.
  • Send your donation parcel through courier to our registered office or you may personally visit our office to deposit the donations.

Avoid donating the clothes which aren’t reusable. The clothes received will go through an intense quality check before it reaches the NGO for redistribution.

There is no minimum limit for donation. You can donate any number of reusable clothes, just the packaging needs to be proper so it is convenient to handle as well as it is protected from any damage during transit.

We would be keeping check on your donations from the time we receive it from you. From our facility after thorough quality check, the donation is then forwarded to the NGOs. You would be getting email updates as your donation passes from one stage to another.

You could help by donating clothes, or by letting people know about our initiative linking us with other donors. That would also be a great help.

Currently we are operational in Ahmedabad, the future plan is to cover Gujarat first, followed by Western India and later pan India. We would recommend you to keep checking our website for further updates.

Want to donate but not from Ahmedabad? Write us on info@eleos.co.in and we would glad to set up something.

Clothes donation platforms extend portals to help people donate their unwanted clothes and other clothing accessories. Clothes donation platforms work like a sort of online donation drive. They allow individuals to donate their old clothes and other items that they no longer need to charity organizations that specialize in clothing donations. Individuals can deposit their unwanted clothing, shoes, or other items with the platforms.

These donated goods are picked up by NGOs and other charity organization, who then distributes the items to local homeless shelters and charities. Clothes donation platforms offer a convenient way for people to donate clothes without having to go through the hassle of finding righteous receivers.

They also allow people to directly support charities that are in need of clothing donations as well as provide a tax deduction for donors. Clothes that might have otherwise ended up in the trash can now be donated while also reducing the amount of waste going into landfills.

You can contact us on info@eleos.co.in or (079) 49067024 from 10:00AM to 5:00PM (Monday to Friday)

Championing the Circular Economy through Green Initiatives

Cloth fabrics utilize an enormous amount of water and other resources during the production process. Throwing off used clothes can strain the environment by piling up the landfills. One way to help reduce your impact on the environment is to donate your used clothes instead of tossing them. When you donate your clothes, you’re not only helping out those who need them, but you are also reducing your own carbon footprint.

If donated, the same gets back into the system and is repurposed for a second life. By repurposing for another usage, we are not only extending the garment life but saving a considerable amount of water and protecting the environment.

Fabric repurposed for donation can be a great way to reuse old clothes that could otherwise end up in the trash. Whether you’re cleaning out your closet or looking for new ways to repurpose your clothes, donating fabric is a great option.

Donating your old clothes to local charities and shelters for people in need is a great way to help the environment.
